Junior Compliance Analyst (SB278)
Manchester – office-based
Salary up to £30k
Role
Helping the risk & compliance team deliver across a number of areas including: compliance monitoring; compliance reviews; maintaining relevant policies and procedures. Assisting the Compliance Officers as required with continuous monitoring, themed compliance reviews, and specific compliance projects. Working with the various business units and functions to manage regulatory risks identified by the compliance team.
Duties
- Junior Compliance Analyst supports data-driven decision-making by assisting in data collection, cleaning, and analysis.
- Assisting with daily compliance tasks and administrative duties.
- Carrying out day-to-day monitoring activities and review tasks in accordance.
- Gathering and managing data to assist with Compliance monitoring.
- Analysing data and preparing returns for regulatory reporting purposes.
- Staying current on regulatory and commercial developments.
- Assisting in the oversight of compliance processes.
- Supporting the Head of Compliance in managing regulatory relationships.
- Answer general compliance queries and assisting with the preparation of information and documents for committees.
Skills/Attributes/Experience
- Suitable for anyone with compliance experience within any FCA regulated business (ideally insurance but Financial Services/banking equally welcome).
- Self-motivated individual looking to build their career in an expanding company.
- Able to adapt quickly and manage priorities.
- Take a methodical and analytical approach to decision making.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail.
