Location: Manchester or Leeds / Hybrid
Property & Casualty Underwriter to join a team of experienced and successful Underwriters involved in driving growth through the acquisition of new business. This is an opportunity to benefit from the development and opportunity for growth on offer.
Role
- As a Property & Casualty Underwriter, you will interact with brokers and intermediaries and undertake the analysing and underwriting of P&C business (new or existing business). This means you will be in a customer facing role, so it is very important that you have great communication and customer service skills.
- Meeting and building relationships with external brokers and customers within the market to promote and sell the company’s proposition as well as working with internal colleagues and teams to support and implement initiatives and deliverables.
Requirements
- Ideally - an experienced Property and Casualty Underwriter - within new business.
- Ability to collaborate, negotiate and communicate effectively and will also be able to undertake research when required.
- A team player, working towards company and underwriting team’s financial plans, standards and metrics.
