Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort is seeking to recruit a Head Waiter.


Responsibilities:

  • Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. ingredients or potential food allergies).
  • Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
  • Offer menu recommendations upon request.
  • Up-sell additional products when appropriate.
  • Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software, order slips or by memorization.
  • Communicate order details to the Kitchen team.
  • Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems.
  • Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.
  • Deliver checks and collect bill payments.
  • Follow all relevant health & safety department regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests.

Qualifications:

  • High school degree, Catering Diploma is a plus.
  • Previous experience in the same position or any similar serving experience in Hospitality Industry.
  • Preferred languages: English, Greek and Russian will be considered as an advantage.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Pleasant Personality.
