About the Client

  • Our Client is a respected creative construction company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the UK and overseas.
  • They operate across exhibitions, museums, contemporary art, and events, offering a full end-to-end service from concept development through to on-site delivery.
  • Due to continued growth and internal restructuring, they are looking to appoint an experienced Exhibitions Project Manager to support their expanding project portfolio.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver a range of exhibition and event projects from initial brief through to final installation.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on programme, progress, and delivery.
  • Present proposals and support new business opportunities where required.
  • Coordinate internal teams across design, CAD, and production functions.
  • Manage procurement of materials and other project resources.
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and exhibition organisers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Oversee health and safety documentation and ensure project compliance.
  • Monitor budgets, costs, and project timelines to maintain successful delivery.
  • Attend site and manage installation phases as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience delivering exhibition projects within a design and build or creative construction environment.
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build and manage effective working relationships.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and programme delivery.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a wider team.
  • Flexible approach to working hours in line with project requirements.
  • 3+ years of project management experience preferred.
  • Good knowledge of construction methods and exhibition build processes.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Basic CAD knowledge would be advantageous.
