Job Description
- Build the supply chain function from the ground up at a deep-tech metrology startup
- Work at the frontier of semiconductor manufacturing technology
- Eindhoven, Netherlands
Invisix is at a pivotal stage. The technology is proven, the team is growing, and now we need the infrastructure to match. As our first Supply Chain Manager, you will own the entire supplier base and procurement function, building the processes, relationships and frameworks that will underpin how we operate as we scale.
This is not a role where you slot into an existing team. You will be the go-to person for every commercial and sourcing decision across the business, working directly with engineers, leadership and operations. The people you work with are highly technical and the components are specialist.
The role reports to the COO, and in the early stages you will work closely together to build out the processes, supplier relationships and commercial frameworks that the business needs as it scales.
Key responsibilities:
- Build the supply chain function from scratch, creating the processes, frameworks and supplier relationships that will underpin how Invisix operates as it scales
- Own supplier selection across a highly specialist, technical component landscape spanning optics, lasers, mechatronics, electronics and mechanics, with a clear eye on which partners can follow the business into volume production
- Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers and service providers, managing contracts through their full lifecycle
- Build credibility and trusted working relationships across a highly technical team, becoming the person people bring commercial and sourcing questions to from the start
- Manage hands-on purchasing activity for equipment, materials and prototype components, keeping oversight of orders and delivery status
About you:
- Solid background in supply chain, sourcing or procurement within the semiconductor or high-tech equipment industry - essential
- Master's degree in engineering, supply chain management or a related discipline, or equivalent extensive industry experience
- Understand how the semiconductor ecosystem operates: its pace of change, supplier dynamics and commercial pressures
- Experience managing supplier relationships and leading commercial negotiations, with a track record of making sound decisions under complexity
- Experience sourcing across specialist technical components. Relevant backgrounds include optics, lasers, mechatronics and mechanics, though any combination is welcome provided the semiconductor or high-tech equipment context is there; experience at a metrology or precision equipment company is a further advantage
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership in an environment where things move fast and priorities shift
Benefits:
- Competitive salary + benefits package
- Employee Share Ownership Plan
- Learning and development budget to support your professional growth
- Flexible working arrangements
Invisix Measuring Systems
Semiconductor manufacturers can't build what they can't measure. At Invisix, we're solving one of the most technically demanding problems in chip manufacturing: reconstructing the detailed 3D geometry of the most advanced next-generation devices.
Founded by two ASML veterans with deep roots in short wavelength metrology, we've spent years de-risking this technology. Now we're building the team to bring it to market. If you love to take ownership, collaborate closely with innovators who care deeply about their contributions, and want your work to matter at the frontier of what's physically possible, this is the place to be.
Diversity and Inclusion
At Invisix, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive culture where ideas and humans thrive. Our recruitment reflects this commitment. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and will judge every candidate on their merits and what they can contribute to our team.
We value people regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, disability or any other aspect of your identity. We're looking for talented, driven individuals who share our values of integrity, collaboration, and making an impact. If you believe you can thrive with us, we want to hear from you.
