Global Lead Auditor

Job Description

The Global Internal Audit Lead is a critical role within War Child, responsible for leading the organization’s audit, risk, and anti-fraud and corruption (AFAC) processes. Key responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing robust internal audit and risk frameworks.
Overseeing compliance audits and providing assurance to stakeholders.
Leading efforts to combat fraud and corruption by developing policies, tools, and capacity-building initiatives.
Conducting impartial investigations into AFAC incidents and advising on risk mitigation.
Managing and motivating the internal audit team to achieve organizational goals.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in internal audit, risk management, and fraud prevention. The ideal candidate will have:

Expertise in developing and managing audit frameworks and compliance systems.
Experience leading or conducting investigations into fraud and corruption.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to report at senior management and board levels.
