Our client, one of the major power providers in Australia is looking for UK authorised LE1 linesworkers to join their industry-leading operation in Australia. A fantastic benefits package is on offer:

The person
You will need to demonstrate the following
- You MUST have completed one of the City & Guilds Courses Listed below:
Level 2 - 2339-17- Electrical Power Engineering - Distribution and Transmission (Technical Knowledge) (2339-17)
Level 2 - 2339-23 - Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering – Overhead Lines (2339-23)
Level 2 - 2304-17 - Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering – Distribution & Transmission (Technical Knowledge) (2304-17)
Level 2 - 2304-21 - Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering (2304-21)
Level 3 - 2339-45 - Level 3 Electrical Power Engineering – Distribution and Transmission (Technical Knowledge) (2339-45)
Level 3 - 2322 - Level 3 Certificate in Electrical Technology Engineering
- You will have valid UK DNO certification indicating authorisation to
- Carry out low voltage operations.
- Carry out high voltage operations.
- Work & test on or near dead overhead (OH) system
- Overhead low voltage (LV) live work / Work & testing on or near live low voltage overhead system
- LV/HV switching experience would be beneficial
- Experience of low and/or high voltage underground distribution work, laying methods and jointing would be beneficial
- You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of safe working practices
- You will be need to demonstrate the ability to learn new skills and adapt to changes in standards, systems, and technologies.
