Job Description
The Head of Operations is responsible for the development and management of residential, domiciliary, assisted living packages, befriending, and day care/work services for vulnerable adults and children. The focus is on services for individuals with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health issues, including those with complex challenging behaviors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all work is person-centred, upholding principles of respect, privacy, dignity, fulfilment, independence, and choice.
- Being available to individuals supported, advocating on their behalf, and overseeing the development and review of individual care plans.
- Providing leadership, supervision, and management of staff, ensuring full staffing within budget and addressing staff development needs.
- Assisting with project development, initial management, and formulation of policies promoting quality care.
- Participating in annual budget preparation and managing services within allocated finances.
- Liaising with carers, professionals, voluntary bodies, and community groups in meeting clients' needs.
- Representing the organization in committees or working groups as appropriate.
