Our client is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Trust Administrator to join their growing private wealth team. The role involves the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of trusts and companies, ensuring all responsibilities are completed in line with legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the administration of a portfolio of trusts, companies, and other wealth structures for high-net-worth individuals and families.
- Draft routine correspondence, minutes, resolutions, and maintain accurate statutory records.
- Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, intermediaries, and external advisors in a professional and timely manner.
- Process payments, distributions, and other transactions in accordance with client instructions and relevant policies.
- Maintain client records on the system and ensure accurate documentation is filed appropriately.
- Support the preparation of accounts and tax filings in collaboration with accounting and tax teams.
- Assist with onboarding new clients, conducting due diligence, and performing risk assessments.
- Ensure all work is undertaken in compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls.
- Contribute to process improvements and team initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Key Requirements:
- Some experience in trust administration or a similar financial services role is desirable.
- Studying towards or willing to study for a relevant professional qualification such as
- STEP Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
- Sound knowledge of fiduciary principles, company law, and regulatory frameworks (such as AML/CFT).
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and client management systems.
- A proactive, positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
