Job Description
Our client is looking for a strategic and creative Marketing and Communications Manager to lead the planning, execution, and management of multi-channel marketing and communication activities across the organisation. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record in developing brand visibility, stakeholder engagement, and digital presence. The successful candidate will drive initiatives that support business objectives, promote services, and strengthen internal and external communications in line with UK best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy, aligned with the organisation’s goals and brand identity.
- Manage all internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, website content, and social media activity.
- Oversee the design, production, and distribution of promotional materials, both digital and print.
- Drive digital marketing efforts, including SEO, paid campaigns, and performance tracking across platforms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media, partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate events, sponsorships, and brand campaigns to maximise visibility and impact.
- Monitor marketing trends and competitor activity, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Lead and mentor junior team members, ensuring effective delivery of projects and campaigns.
- Maintain consistency in tone, style, and visual identity across all communication channels.
- Ensure compliance with UK advertising regulations, data protection laws (GDPR), and corporate policies.
Key Requirements:
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Significant experience in a similar role, ideally within financial, legal, or professional services.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and clear messaging.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, content management systems (e.g. WordPress), email platforms, and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics).
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Demonstrated experience in brand development, media relations, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
