Job Description
Our client is looking for an Insurance Administrator to join their dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth administration of insurance policies and related processes. The successful candidate will support the operational functions of the insurance department, providing vital support to ensure that all administrative tasks are handled efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process insurance policies, renewals, claims, and adjustments, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
- Liaise with insurance providers, brokers, and clients to gather necessary documentation and resolve any policy-related queries or issues.
- Handle the administrative aspects of new business applications, policy amendments, and cancellations, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all insurance-related transactions and client communications in line with company policies and legal requirements.
- Provide support to the wider insurance team, assisting with day-to-day operations and taking on any other tasks as required.
- Assist in the preparation of insurance reports, presentations, and other documentation for senior management and clients.
- Ensure high-quality customer service, offering clear and professional communication to clients, brokers, and insurance companies.
- Handle billing and invoicing for insurance premiums, ensuring payments are processed correctly and within the required timelines.
- Support the team in monitoring the performance of existing policies, identifying potential areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in insurance administration, with a solid understanding of insurance products, policy management, and claims processing.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with clients and providers professionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with insurance software is highly desirable.
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience in customer service or client-facing roles within the insurance industry.
