Job Title: Artificial Lift Field Specialist
Work Location: [ Iraq / Basra ]
Work Rotation: 6 weeks On x 3 Weeks Off
Reports To: Field Operations Manager / Service Supervisor
The Artificial Lift Field Specialist is responsible for the installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of artificial lift systems in oil and gas wells. This role requires hands-on field work, technical knowledge of various artificial lift methods (especially Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP), Rod Pumps, Gas Lift, and Progressive Cavity Pumps), and the ability to interface with clients and other stakeholders to ensure optimal well performance.
Key Responsibilities:
. Install, commission, and pull artificial lift systems, including ESPs, rod pumps, and gas lift systems.
. Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of underperforming wells and artificial lift equipment.
. Optimize artificial lift system performance based on well conditions and production goals.
. Work closely with production engineers, field personnel, and clients to implement lift solutions.
. Maintain and repair equipment to ensure uptime and reliability.
. Monitor and report system performance metrics.
. Interpret downhole data and recommend changes or upgrades to lift systems.
. Provide technical support and training to less experienced field staff.
. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
. Maintain accurate records of services performed, equipment used, and findings.
Required Qualifications:
. Technical diploma or bachelor's degree
. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in artificial lift field operations.
. Proficiency in one or more lift systems: ESP, rod lift, gas lift, or PCP.
. Strong mechanical aptitude and field troubleshooting skills.
. Willingness to work in remote field locations and on rotation if required.
. Valid driver's license and ability to pass medical and HSE requirements.

Work Environment:

. Rotational schedules may apply (e.g., 14/14 or 28/28).
. Requires lifting, standing, and working with tools and equipment in the field.
