Job Objective:
Coordinate and manage logistics activities at the oil & gas site to ensure efficient and timely transportation, storage, and delivery of materials and equipment. Support site operations by optimizing logistics processes, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements specific to oil & gas operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the movement of materials, equipment, and personnel to and from the oil & gas site.
- Manage transportation schedules and ensure timely deliveries to support site operations and project timelines.
- Oversee handling, storage, and inventory control of materials and equipment on site.
- Ensure compliance with all customs, import/export, and local transportation regulations relevant to oil & gas operations.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and site teams to resolve logistics and supply chain issues.
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records for site materials.
- Implement and optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
- Support site procurement and warehouse teams in planning and managing inventory levels.
- Monitor and report on logistics performance, delivery status, and any potential delays affecting site activities.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with oil & gas site safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably in oil & gas or large-scale industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes, transportation management, and inventory control at field sites.
- Experience with customs regulations, import/export documentation, and hazardous material handling.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities for working with field teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure in challenging site environments and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
