Job: Superintendent –Process & Mechanical
Reports Directly To: Commissioning Manager
Reports Functionally To: Operations Support Manager
Objectives :
▪ Lead the preparation phase of the project for the Process & Mechanical disciplines ensuring all deliverables are issued to schedule and are of sufficiently high quality for the execution of the project
▪ To be the focal point for Process & Mechanicals Commissioning in the execution phase
▪ First line contact for Process & Mechanical Commissioning issues
▪ To be the Subject Matter Expert in all aspects of commissioning Process & Mechanical equipment and systems lead in all aspects of HSE by example

Activities :
▪ Develop the Process & Mechanical sub-system boundaries by marking up the P&IDs and compilation of the sub-system list
▪ Populate, verify and update the mechanical completions database, ensuring any discrepancies are raised via TQ and resolved with Engineering
▪ Provide commissioning priorities to construction in consultation with commissioning Manager and provide input into commissioning schedule
▪ Review and update the ITRs & FTRs for their own discipline
▪ Take part in Engineering reviews for their own discipline
▪ Produce, review and update discipline specific General Procedures and Operational Test Procedures
▪ Liaise with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC & Operations within the SLB organization for their own discipline
▪ Coordination with other Superintendents on cross-discipline issues, scheduling, execution and handovers
▪ Commissioning of ALL Process & Mechanical systems/sub-systems and assist in the Commissioning systems/sub-systems of other disciplines that are required for Process & Mechanical commissioning
▪ Review Vendor procedures, Spares lists, and O&M manuals
▪ Ensure all FAT/SATs are attended and review and update reports, both internal & Vendor’s
▪ Ensure all Commissioning spares, special tools and consumables are accounted for and available during the execution phase
▪ Subject matter expert for SIMOPS / Commissioning PTW for the Process & Mechanical discipline and Area Authority in the Commissioning Controlled Areas
▪ Oversee the Process & Commissioning execution, providing 1st line management to all Technicians, Vendors, Operations Team Members and Construction support
▪ Attend the Daily Commissioning Meetings report all activities, progress and areas of concern to the Commissioning Manager
▪ Coordinate Pre -Startup Safety Review for their discipline and perform handover to clients and operations
▪ Training of Commissioning & O&M Teams
▪ Prepare and monitor vendor mobilisation plan
