Job: Instrumentation Commissioning Lead
Reports Directly To: Instrumentation Commissioning Supt.
Objectives :
▪ Supervise and lead the Instrumentation & Telecom commissioning of Oil and gas facilities
▪ Lead in all aspects of HSE by example

Activities :
▪ Have in depth knowledge of all Telecoms systems in addition Instrumentation
▪ Populate, verify and update the mechanical completions database, ensuring any discrepancies are raised via TQ and resolved with Engineering
▪ Review and update the ITRs & FTRs for the Instrumentation & Telecom disciplines
▪ Produce, review and update discipline specific Operational Test Procedures
▪ Review Vendor procedures, Spares lists, and O&M manuals
▪ Supervision of Instrumentation & Telecoms Commissioning Technicians in the day-to-day tasks for the Instrumentation discipline, completion of FTRs & Operation Tests
▪ Ensure all PTW Commissioning Controlled Areas (CCAs) are correctly barricaded, and all signage and access/egress are correctly applied as Area Authority
▪ Ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule and all non-compliances, delays and faults are recorded and the Commissioning Superintendent is informed
▪ Witnessing of Construction Pre commissioning tasks recording in the ITRs
▪ FAT &SAT attendance
▪ Ensure all Commissioning spares, tools and consumables a readily available for each daily task
▪ Assist in the development Commissioning procedures
▪ Ensure all LOTOs and Energization procedures are adhered to in conjunction with the electrical leads
▪ Interface with Constructions for closure of Punch lists and other documents
▪ Ensure handover documentation is signed off and handed to the Handover Coordinator in a timely manner
▪ Coordinate Pre startup review and perform handover to clients and operations
▪ Supervise all Vendors, subcontractors, 3rdparties. Operations Team & Client on site
▪ Ensure the Sub-stations access is limited to authorized persons only
▪ Participate fully PTW / SIMOPS meetings
