Job Description
HSE Supervisor shall be formally (certified by subjects authorized to provide training in HSE matters) trained and qualified in a number of HSE subjects such as:
- Hazard recognition & Risk evaluation
- Permit to Work of the Company where the activity will be performed
- First Aid (advanced)
- Fire Fighting (advanced)
- Use of Portable Gas Monitors - Gas tester
- H2S /toxic gases and use of breathing aparatus/aids, if there is the H2S hazard in the workplace
- Confined Spaces entry (awareness and rescue)
- Excavation Safety - If applicable
- Welding / Cutting operations
- Work at Height
- Lifting Operations
- Scaffolding Inspection
- Control of hazardous energy (LOTO)
- Chemical Hazards and Safety Data Sheet
- Electrical Hazard (LT (Low Tension)/HT (High Tension) Competent Person)
- Defensive Driving course - if applicable
They shall be computer literate, fluent in the language used by the workers under their supervision as well as in English; they shall be experienced in team working, with adequate past exposure to multicultural environments, SIMOPS/CONOPS and capable of leading and coaching international teams.
Experience:
a. Experience: at least 7 Years in HSE;
b. Schooling: Graduation Certificate Engineering/Science/Petroleum Engineering);
c. Skills: Language (Arabic and English) and Computer proficiency;
