Job: Electrical Construction Supervisor
Reports Directly to: Construction Manager / Site Manager
Objectives :
• Oversee and coordinate all electrical construction activities on-site. This includes managing subcontractors, ensuring work is performed according to project specifications, and resolving any issues that arise during construction.
• The Electrical Supervisor will need to have a strong eye for technical specifics and potential trouble spots.
• To manage the interfaces of Electrical Domain, like releasing the electrical Engineering documentation Approved for Constructionto the Construction Subcontractor, follow up of free issue items (E-house, generators and other electrical equipment) to Subcontractor and oversee the correct installation at Site.

Activities
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the electrical construction activities, including coordinating with subcontractor’s peers, and suppliers.
• Enforce safety regulations and building codes and conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards or violations.
• Manage and resolve conflicts between parties involved in their discipline.
• Maintain accurate records of progress, and quality control measures.
• Identify and address any issues or problems that arise during the construction process related with the domain.
• Oversee and report deviations of how Subcontractor manage the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with Scope of Work, approved plans, specifications, and permits.
• Review Permit to Work requested by Subcontractor, ensuring that all the hazards & controls/precautions are explained to and understood by the affected operators. Issue Electrical Safety documents.
• Review/Approve Isolation Request & Validation and LOTO procedures.
• Ensure safe working practices and Electrical Safety Rules are followed by operators on site
• Interface with the Client Electrical counterpart and with the site Manager as required, promptly identifying areas of concernthat may affect progress/quality/cost etc., recommending corrective actions as required.
• Take part in daily meeting to report and forecast activities. Liaise with other Construction Supervisors
• Provide sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline.
• Interface with Engineering, ensuring that latest revision of documentation is used on site.
• Electrical erection activities schedule monitoring.
• Assist with Commissioning phase as required
• Manage as built drawings from Subcontractors
• Verify material presence on site promptly identifying future potential issues.
• Coordinating a team of Authorized Electrical Persons for the Electrical Works execution
• Coordination with site Electrical QA/QC (OPF and Supplier).
• Inspecting / approve and assessing the work done from Subcontractor

Prior Experience/Expertise Required
Experience :
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a similar field.
• 10+ years Proven work experience as an electrical supervisor in Oil & Gas EPCC Projects.
• Familiarity with state electrical and safety codes.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• A good eye for detail.
