Job Title : QAQC REPRESENTATIVE - DW/LOG
Situation in organization
N+1: QAQC ENGINEER
N+2: LOG MANAGER
Job dimensions :
- Contribute to the preparation of AGUP Phase 1 & 2 - Drilling Campaign by surveying assemblies preparation / Transport readiness to wellsite and return.
- The position will coordinate QAQC DW/LOG activities on all the contracts undergoing at Service Company base
- In charge of ensuring correct procedure for receiving, inspecting, and storing of goods in collaboration with Service Company
- Support QAQC at supplier base while preparing sub-assemblies
- Support / provide inventory reconciliation in coordination with C&P / DW and LOG
Activities :
HSE
- Adopt and demonstrate exemplarity towards HSE rules with associated enforcement and control within his area of responsibility.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s referential and actively support the preparation and review of derogations to the rules when required.
Drilling campaign preparation & readiness
- In charge of mapping and frame workflow to ensure the smooth flow of materials necessary to ensure the operational demand requirements for drilling and completions are met well in advance of start date
- Attend meetings to structure smooth collaboration between Service Company and TEPRH DW/LOG and C&P.
- Collaborate with DW / LOG team to develop metrics to monitor goals, such as timely delivery, cost reduction, improved supplier performance (KPI), etc.
Operations follow-up & close-out
- Will act as a point of contact for the DW / LOG team for material movement to ensure the operational demand requirements are met
- Will act as an auditor for any service process at the contractor’s location
- Will act as a focal point for stock inventory verification / identification with C&P / LOG / DW team
- Will act as a focal point for all related updates / progress on assemblies make up / construction. Supervise QAQC during preparation assemblies + related quality documentation of all the assemblies made under the scope of services of all contracts on location.
- QAQC Rep will provide good receipts on location and validate proprietary equipment.
- Supervise and assess the proprietary stock maintenance on location (preservation / validity of tests / storage conditions etc.)
- QAQC Rep will track and follow all service quality issues progress + nonconformities with service companies
- Report on activities at the contractor base daily / weekly on all Service Contracts.
- He will assess/verify load outs to and back from rigs with adequate documentation. (transport conditions of equipment + boxing / method of transport). Ensuring TEPRH LOG standards are adhered to.
- Supervise materials transit and movements; ensure all are done in accordance with Stock Management procedures (stock and direct purchase, reception, releases, return, surplus and scraps), properly plan to keep proper record of all equipment and materials in & out activities in accordance with Company standard.
- Supervise all surpluses, scrap, inspection, disposal, return to suppliers etc, make arrangement for shareholders and authorities during audits and ensure all rules and regulations are complied. Ensure all records are properly kept
- Coordinates and reconciles inventory counts, inventory reporting
- Support partner’s audit and stock reconciliation audit
Context and environment :
The position is in rotational basis (4/4) based in Basra – Iraq.
Ratawi is an onshore field, in a remote area circa 60-90 minutes by land transportation from Basra city. 53 legacy wells already exist.
Accountabilities :
Contribute to preventing any major incident and pollution – Sustainability thinker.
Support the drilling and completion team to deliver wells on time and budget
Optimize material movement process and ensure reconciliation is performed in due time
Qualifications/Experience required :
High school diploma with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in QAQC practice related to Oil and Gas Drilling and Wells specifically.
Good knowledge of related O&G API Standards and API Q2 & Q1 practices for QMS – Hands on / operational experience of DW tools in rig environment would be preferable.
Good SAP environment knowledge
Auditing capabilities / experience along the ISO 9001 / API Q1 and/or Q2 standard would be a plus.
Very good interpersonal skills, ability to work within an international team of engineers and English fluent – French and/or Arabic is a plus.
