Duties and responsibilities
- Apply standard project management and IT control/assurance methodologies, standards and processes (such as PMI agile) including architecture, information risk management, and transition to support
- Have a solid infrastructure knowledge of telecom and network in the oil field.
- Have a clear picture of products of major vendors in the industry.
- Lead the team to maintain the existing system with the assurance team.
- Give the guideline or suggestion for the design of the new system.
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
- Liaise with vendors and other IT section for problem resolution
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant development life-cycles, and the operating environments. in-depth knowledge of risk management. Understands the interdependencies of business processes and information systems.
- Understands and applies the theory and practice of change management. Knows and uses various change methodologies appropriately at the individual, team and organizational level.
- Understanding of the costs of IT (project and lifecycle) and the ability to identify cost levers which the project steering committee can pull to drive down the operations costs.
Qualification & Training requirements
- BSc. Degree in Engineering, computer, communication, electrical
- PMI certification
- Knowledge in agile methodologies

Experience
- 5 to 8 years of relevant job experience within the oil & gas industry.
- Good understanding of and demonstrable hands-on experience in all functional aspects of IT-Telecom including networking, security, and maintenance SLA management etc.
