Job Title: Senior Accountant Controller


Job Summary:  

We are seeking an experienced “Senior Accountant Controller” to oversee and manage all financial activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Sage X3, ERP systems, Maximo, and Catos Billing, along with strong expertise in financial reporting, asset management, audit, and reconciliations. This role also requires close coordination with Procurement, Billing, and Store departments to ensure smooth financial operations.  


Key Responsibilities:   

  • Financial Management & Compliance:  
  • Oversee all financial operations, ensuring compliance with IFRS and company policies.  
  • Implement and monitor internal financial controls.  
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.  
  • Final validation of accounting journals, AR, and AP, ensuring compliance with internal control policies.

ERP & Systems Management: 

  • Utilize Sage X3, Maximo, and Catos Billing to manage financial transactions, billing, and asset records.  
  • Ensure seamless integration of financial data across ERP systems.  

Asset Management & Financial Reporting:  

  • Monitor and manage company assets, ensuring proper valuation and depreciation schedules.  
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.  
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.   


Audit & Reconciliations:  

  • Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial records.  
  • Perform account reconciliations, including bank, supplier, and intercompany accounts.  
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.  
  • Procurement, Billing & Store Monitoring:   
  • Collaborate with the Procurement and Billing teams to ensure proper financial controls in purchasing and revenue recognition.  
  • Monitor store activities to track inventory movements and ensure compliance with financial policies.  
  • Ensure timely invoice and billing reconciliation.  

Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related 5 years field experience.  
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.  
  • Hands-on experience with Sage X3, Maximo, Catos Billing, and ERP systems.  
  • Expertise in audit, reconciliations, and financial analysis.   
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and ensure financial efficiency.  
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.  
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.  


Experience:  

  • 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or auditing, preferably in a Senior financial role.  
  • Experience in handling financial reporting, asset management, and procurement processes.  
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
