Position title : Construction HSE Technician
Position status : LN
Position reports to : Construction HSE Lead
Department : SP
Rotation pattern : 14/14
Duties and Responsibilities (will Include but are not limited to)
• Ensures that all activities are carried out according to laws and regulations, policies and procedures of the company
• Contribute to promote the Company HSE philosophy to all parties involved in the Project
• General support to the construction HSE lead both in the field and in the office.
• General Support to the project team in the field and in the office
• Making regular site inspections
• Investigating/recording incidents, accidents.
• Undertaking risk assessments
• Identifying potential hazards
• Determining ways of reducing risks(review the method statement of the safety measures)
•Organizing/attending health and safety meetings
• Review JHA
• Ensuring that equipment is used correctly/safely
• Coaching, supervising of the construction activities.
Qualification & Training requirements
Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in a health, safety, or environmental field of study
• Computer literate – in particular MS Office.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good organization skills
• HSE General Certificate
• Personnel Management Skills
• Initiative.
Experience
Experience:
• Total Experience: 4 years of working in HSE with minimum of 2 years in Oil & Gas projects
Language Proficiency, Computer and Software Skills :
• MS Office: Excel, Word and Power point – Advanced
• English – Excellent (Spoken & Written)
